I grew up in the South Bend area, attending Penn High School. From there I went to school at Eastern Michigan University, before finishing my degree in Mass Communications at IUSB.
I've coached swimming since 2007 and that was the catalyst for my enjoyment in education and began my path to want to become a teacher.
